 Dual Position Shuttle Transfer Car

With flexibility as its outstanding advantage, the Dual
Position Shuttle Transfer Car is used for multi-conveyor line load pick-up
and transfer. Electrically-powered with signals from a PLC 5/20
controller that facilitates precise positioning, the transfer car is
guided between stations by a two-inch wide steel-lined groove in the
factory floor. Cam-follower wheels on shafts mounted on front and rear of
the car track along the groove. Safety bumpers and onboard scanners that
sense traffic in the car's way enhance operating safety. The car can be
customized to hold one, two, or four pallet loads, and its sophisticated
program logic automatically handles all the variations of strap patterns,
top sheeting, stacking and other system requirements. These shuttle
cars eliminate the need for additional conveyors and allow for open space
for forklift access. In addition, the car increases efficiency and
reduces traffic and product damage caused by forklifts.
