Description of Operation

The Currie Fully Automatic Low Level Palletizer, Model LLP-10, was designed to provide efficient and reliable palletizing twenty four (24) hours a day seven (7) days a week and can accommodate a wide variety of products with production speeds of up to 30 per minute, depending upon product and pattern specifications.

Products are presented to the infeed conveyor of the palletizer, which includes three (3) separate drives for proper control of product into the palletizer.

The first drive of the infeed controls our metering belts, which acts to see palletizer for counting purposes. The second drive controls product row forming section. The third drive is used to accumulate rows of product before they are transferred to our full layer accumulation section. Product rows are transferred to this section utilizing a low profile "row" sweep and variable speed drive for soft product handling.

Once a full layer has been formed on the layer accumulation section the entire layer is then transferred to our stripper plate slide table using another low profile sweep.

Each layer is compacted on the stripper plate slide table with layer squaring side guides and a rear gate. Our layer positioning system then deposits the completed layer on an empty pallet or onto another layer of the load. Once the correct number of layers have been palletized the load is discharged and another pallet is positioned in the load forming area, the palletizer then repeats the process.
