Conveyor Bearings

Conveyor bearings are inserted into the roller tubes along with an axle and placed in a frame. The rollers rotate with the belt riding on top of the rollers carrying the product. The belt can also be used underneath the rollers to turn the rollers to carry the product. There are several factors that must be taken into account when purchasing conveyor bearings. At Ensalco, we offer a large selection of both conveyor rollers and conveyor bearings with prompt delivery.

Depending on your requirements, different types of conveyor bearings will be appropriate. When speed and load requirements are low or moderate, non-precision conveyor bearings may be sufficient. If you require speeds up to 400 RPM, semi-precision bearings are necessary. When you require high speeds or heavy loads, you will need precision bearings, which are typically shielded and sealed to keep contaminants out of the bearing.

Our non-precision and semi-precision bearings are available with multiple lubrication options to keep them operating efficiently. Oiled bearings are appropriate for conditions up to 200°F and are typically found in gravity conveyor systems. For a higher temperature range or a humid environment, grease-packed conveyor bearings are best suited.

If your conveyor system is vital to the operation of your company, you must make sure that your conveyor bearings will perform at their best for several years. There are several options available to protect your conveyor bearings, including shielding, sealing, and shot guards. Depending on the environment in which you are using your conveyor belt, these extra measures can keep your system operating optimally. With more than 30 years of experience, we can assist you with selecting the appropriate conveyor bearings for your system.
