X-Ray Systems
X-Ray systems are a form of in line inspection for a variety of industries, such as; fresh and frozen foods, packaged foods, pharmaceuticals, bakery products, health foods, and confectionery products. An X-Ray system provides an efficient, cost-effective method of detecting contaminated, missing and even misaligned package contents directly on the production line. Unlike a metal systems, x-ray systems can inspect for any foreign matter, not just ferrous and non-ferrous metals. X-Ray systems images are processed using a variety of morphological techniques to detect contaminates such as bone, stone, glass metal and other foreign materials. Comparative techniques are used to identify pack contents that do not conform to predetermined standards. Non-conforming packs can be removed either automatically or manually.
