Vertical conveyors are conveyors that transport product, such as cases, totes and pallets up or down to a different level of the production or warehouse space. They are transporting the product by utilizing a vertical concept. Reciprocating vertical conveyors start at one level and take the product up or down then goes back to the originating level to pick up another product, and then transport it up or down.
